San Francisco Spring Popup with Secession Art and Design
You can still shop this Popup on line!
Secession Art & Design’s San Francisco Spring Popup is happening May 4-7 at 307 Cortland. Curator Eden Stein is back in Bernal for a long weekend to transform an empty storefront into a gallery. 15 artists have created a collection of art that will make each room in your abode feel vibrant and meditative. You can preview the art at the virtual gallery. I’ll be there Friday evening!

The Drawing Room
780 Valencia St., San Francisco

SKY is the culmination of The Drawing Room’s exhibition series at 780 Valencia Street about the environment, following LAND, Adaptations, and SEA. In these exhibitions, artists were asked to think about the following questions: What is possible? How have you, as an artist, been impacted by environmental degradation and climate change? How are you impacting the environment in your art practice and daily existence? How can your work and art communicate awareness and the specific needs for change? What is/are your call/s to action?
I am showing two of my Pacific Flyway scenes.

The first of three shows addressing our relationship to environmental and human justice issues. How is the earth we stand on divided, conquered, and exploited by our human interests and interventions? Over 150 artists in the gallery!

I love this show in the Berkeley Hills! And the ducks do too! For more about this lovely little gallery, read all about it!

This longstanding charity auction benefits the UCSF Alliance Health Project, providing mental health and wellness support for the LGBTQ+ & HIV community. I am always gratified to support this essential program with my art, and with many of my favorite art purchases. This year I contributed a new piece from the Linger series, shot in the Sacramento Delta. Bidding will open in early September, and the entire collection will be on view at the Drawing Room from Sept 9-15. It’s always an outstanding collection.
